Hillel is currently seeking applicants for the job of Social Media Manager at its international headquarters in Washington, DC. Hillel seeks a creative self-starter who understands the value of social media and how it can assist a non-profit organization in a variety of key areas, including fundraising, marketing, and community building. This ideal candidate should also be a technologist willing to learn new systems, master new tools and constantly monitor the trends and emerging services that fuel social media. Hillel is looking for someone with a proven understanding of how Facebook, blogs, Twitter and other social media can impact an organization’s reach. This person should be an energetic communicator with an ability to use social media in a professional capacity. The Social Media Manager is responsible for generating ‘buzz’ around Hillel through all constituent levels.
